Application:
EcoFlame I-58 is high purity magnesium hydroxide, Based on mineral materials, the unique process guarantees a regular structure of crystallite. EcoFlame I-58 was made for plastic applications and represents a halogen free flame retardant with low smoke emission and high thermal stability up to 340ºC, During the decomposition process no toxic or corrosive gases are generated.
It is used as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant in cables, LDPE and HDPE, PP homo and copolymers and nylons. It is also used as a smoke suppressant in PVC.
  It is also available in fined and surface-treated grades which are suitable to specific applications: increase internal consistency with basic materials and improve the synthetical property.
Due its difference on partice size and specific area, Ecoflame I-58G and EcoFlame I-58N were available.
